Why so serious?
Saturday, July 19th, 2008“I use a knife because guns are too quick. Otherwise, you can’t savor all the emotions. You know who people are in their last moments.” -Joker [The Dark Night]
Phenomenal, The Dark Night sets a new standard for how Hollywood should make movies. The movie is a milestone in cinematic history, yes sounds like I might be seriously exaggerating it but you will need to watch it to truly know what I mean.

The Joker.. where should I even begin describing what a performance it was. The late Heath Ledger is more scary than funny as the Joker and his presence on the screen, his acting and the fact he is dead sends chills down your spine. This version of Joker totally makes Jack Nicholson’s portrail (Batman 1989) seem like Child play. His performance belongs there at the top with the likes of Hopkins/Lecter, Brando/Godfather. The Joker has finally taken a proper cinematic shape, pity only to be never repeated. RIP Heath.
Over all the movie is gripping, intellectual, complex and most spectacular when compared to any superhero movie… ever made… loved it…
