It got me thinking

Tuesday, July 8th, 2008

Well recently I stumbled upon the following video on You tube titled “The Most Terrifying Video You’ll Ever See”

I always had this thought which I never put it in writing so here it is..

Cancer is defined a class of diseases in which a group of cells display the traits of uncontrolled growth (growth and division beyond the normal limits), invasion (intrusion on and destruction of adjacent tissues), and sometimes metastasis (spread to other locations in the body via lymph or blood).

Now I’ll define Human Race

Human Race is a species which display the traits of uncontrolled growth (growth and reproduction beyond the normal limits), invasion (intrusion on and destruction of adjacent species), and sometimes metastasis (spread to every region of the planet).

Now let me explain why I came to such a harsh conclusion…

Every cell in your body does its work to help your body, Each cell is independent does its job and coordinates with adjacent cells. All the cells form tissues and organs and in tandem run a very complex structure called the Human being. Apart from organic stuff in our body we have 70% water and other inorganic stuff which are used to run the body.

In the same way I believe we all are cells along with other species on this planet. Apart from living beings they are inorganic substances like water, gases and minerals. Consider Earth as a Human being and we and every other living entity as a cell which helps the functioning of that body using available resources.

What happens when one certain type of cell multiples and destroys other cells and consume all available inorganic sources than other cells? It becomes cancer and effects the health of the being. Everything we do as a human being effects this planet. When Human population crossed its limits a while ago. And every one born after that is just one more cell which will be just a burden. Sounds awful isn’t it? But again its not your fault. Its a chain started and will go on we can’t help it. We’ve done a mistake and first step is to admit that and do whatever we can do become a good cancer cell rather than a bad cancer cell.

Phew.. too much biology eh…? But I guess I don’t have to explain all this, if you really realize what is happening around, you will think the same.
